Serving Dentistry and the Community Since 1902

Dentistry is changing at an exponential rate primarily driven by technology. In this fast-paced world where dentists not only provide crucial care but also guide their teams, practices, and careers while needing a work-home balance, there are multiple challenges. Organized dentistry exists to help dentists with these challenges.

To help dentists thrive at every stage of their careers, the Colorado Springs Dental Society exists with resources and tools:

  • CE programs with CERP credits to keep you and your staff fully aligned with current dental practices and to meet licensure requirements
  • Events to promote networking among dentists and staff members
  • Opportunities to give back to the community
  • Staffed office to answer your questions
  • Frequent, informative publications, annual Dental Directory, email blasts, and social media posts
  • Partnerships with other professional organizations, military bases, area study clubs, regional dental clinics and Colorado Mission of Mercy, Colo. Spgs. Magazine’s Top Dentists issue, and Colorado Springs Utilities Department regarding their online fluoride map.

The CSDS serves the community in a variety of ways:

  • Participation in area events, including The Bob Telmosse Holiday Give-Away, Operation Gratitude (Halloween candy buy-back program), Law Officers’ Appreciation Day
  • Volunteers at the annual Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM)
  • Referrals to member dentists who are encouraged to keep their Find-a-Dentist page current
  • Answers to questions and referrals to appropriate sources.
